Studies on Imitation I is an embodied research project examining how artificial intelligence processes, translates and standardizes bodily difference. Centered on “stimming” - repetitive gestures associated with neurodivergent embodiment — the work redefines these movements as a kinetic intelligence through which the body regulates and rebalances itself.
